# Manage your Bolt account, billing, and token usage

> Manage your Bolt account, change your plan, check your token usage, and find answers about billing, code ownership, and commercial use of what you build.

Manage your Bolt account to control how you sign in, which plan you're on, and how many tokens you have.

Tokens measure the work Bolt does when it reads, thinks about, and builds your project. Prompts in Build Mode and Plan Mode use tokens. Direct edits in Code view and restoring a version from version history don't use tokens.
