# Hosting

> Bolt offers built-in hosting so you can publish your project without touching a server or setting up a third-party account.

## Key hosting topics

This is the central page for Bolt Hosting, designed to help you get oriented before diving into more specific topics. Additional pages cover areas that often need extra explanation, and you can reach them using the links below or the left menu.

* [Analytics](/cloud/hosting/analytics)
* [Plans](/cloud/hosting/plans)
* [Publishing your project](/cloud/hosting/publish)
* [SEO Boost](/cloud/hosting/seo)
* [FAQs](/cloud/hosting/troubleshoot-host)

## What is hosting?

Hosting simply means putting your project on the internet so other people can visit it as a website. When you “publish” a project, Bolt takes the files you’ve created and makes them available at a live web address anyone can open in their browser.

Bolt hosting lets you publish your project to a live URL in seconds, with a free `.bolt.host` domain included. No third-party account is required: Bolt handles everything.

## Who can use Bolt hosting?

All Bolt users, both Free and Pro, can publish their projects to a `.bolt.host` domain, although [custom domains](/cloud/domains) are only available for Pro users.
