User already associated with email

If you see an error such as “There is already a user associated with this email” when logging into Bolt, it usually means your login credentials are overlapping between different providers. For example, you might have both a GitHub account and a Google account linked to the same email address. If you originally signed up for Bolt using GitHub, signed out, and later tried to log in with Google, this conflict can occur. To fix the issue, follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to StackBlitz using your GitHub account.
  2. Click Settings in the left menu.
  3. Click the Credentials tab.
  4. Click Add Google credentials to connect your Google login.
If you originally signed up with Google, add your GitHub credentials in Step 4 instead.
After doing this, you’ll be able to sign in with either GitHub or Google.

Resend confirmation instructions

If you signed up for a Bolt or StackBlitz account but didn’t receive the confirmation email, you can request a new confirmation email.

Forgot your password

If you created your StackBlitz account using an email address (not Google or GitHub), you can reset your password through the StackBlitz password reset page.
