StackBlitz is Bolt’s parent company, and your accounts are automatically linked. When you sign up for Bolt, you’re actually creating a StackBlitz account, which you then use to manage your Bolt projects.

Resend email confirmation

Go to StackBlitz | Resend confirmation to request a new confirmation email.

Reset your password

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a password reset: StackBlitz password reset. If you signed into Bolt using GitHub and have forgot the password to your GitHub account, you can reset it at GitHub’s password reset.

Change your email address

The email address you use to log into Bolt is managed through your StackBlitz account. To change your email address, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Stackblitz.com/sign_in
  2. Log in.
  3. Click Settings in the left menu.
  4. Click the Profile tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Emails section.
  6. Enter your new email address.
  7. Click Add.
  8. Log in to your email, find the confirmation email from StackBlitz, then click Confirm your email.
  9. Refresh your StackBlitz profile page, and you’ll see that your email has changed from No to Yes under the Confirmed column.
  10. Click the button next to it to make it your preferred email address.

Change your StackBlitz username

When you first create a StackBlitz account, a username is autogenerated for you. If you’d like to change your username, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Stackblitz.com/sign_in
  2. Log in.
  3. Click Settings in the left menu.
  4. Click the Profile tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Change username section.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Enter a new username (without spaces).
  8. Click Save.

Delete your account

You can’t undo this action. Only proceed if you’re certain you no longer need access to your account or its projects.
Bolt and StackBlitz accounts are the same thing (one account, two applications).
To delete your StackBlitz (and therefore Bolt) account, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Stackblitz.com/sign_in
  2. Log in.
  3. Click Settings in the left menu.
  4. Click the Profile tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Account deletion section at the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Delete my account.
  7. At this point you’ll see one of two options:
    • If you have active subscriptions: Click Billing settings to cancel them first.

    • If you don’t have active subscriptions: Click the red Permanently delete my account button.
