Before you ask Bolt to fix a problem, try to find out what causes it. Fixes in Build Mode use tokens, so knowing the cause helps you ask for the right fix instead of spending tokens on changes that don’t solve the problem.

Find the cause first

  1. Write down the steps that lead to the problem.
  2. Repeat the steps to confirm that the problem happens every time.
  3. Describe the problem to Bolt in Plan Mode, which diagnoses the issue without changing your code.
  4. When you know the cause, switch to Build Mode to fix it.
