Bolt groups settings by what they control: your account, your workspace, a single project, and your team. Find the group that matches what you want to change.

Find the settings you need

  • Account settings: Change appearance and defaults, connect applications, manage Knowledge, and add Connectors (MCP). These settings apply to all of your projects.
  • Workspace settings: Manage your subscription, token balance, and Cloud usage, plus shared Knowledge in team workspaces.
  • Project settings: Rename a project, manage its domain and hosting, and view analytics. You can also set Knowledge and restore from a backup.
  • Team settings: Control member roles, who can publish, which integrations are allowed, and how team data is exported. Only team admins can view and change these settings.
For sign-in, password, and account deletion settings, see Create and manage your account.

Find where to add Knowledge

Knowledge gives Bolt background instructions, like your goals, style expectations, terminology, and constraints. Bolt uses them automatically, so you don’t repeat them in every prompt. Each group of settings has its own Knowledge:

Find your settings on mobile

If you’re using Bolt on a phone or tablet, you can get to your settings in a couple of different ways:
  • From the home page or the projects page: At the top left of the header, tap the menu button (three bars icon), then tap the box showing your current workspace (this could be your email address or team name). Under Your teams, tap Settings.
  • From inside a project: At the top-left of the header, tap the menu (three bars icon), then tap the arrow next to the name of the current workspace (this could be your email address or team name). Next to the workspace name, click Settings.
