You can collaborate on a Bolt project at any stage, from early building to final review. What people can see and do depends on whether you share your project or publish your site.

Decide what to share

Your project is the workspace where you build with Bolt. Your site is the published version of your project that people can visit on the web. Sharing gives people access to your project, and publishing gives them access to your site, either publicly or only if you invite them.
  • Share your project: Share your project with others and control their level of access. You can let collaborators view only, edit and prompt, or own the project with you.
  • Publish your project to a live website: Put your project on the web and choose whether it’s public or private.
On a Teams plan, team members have automatic access to your team’s projects.

Work together

  • Collaborate with others: Invite collaborators and work together in real time with multiplayer mode. This page also covers the projects dashboard and sharing integrations like databases and GitHub.

Give and receive feedback

  • Comment on a project: Leave comments on your project’s preview to talk with collaborators or give instructions to the agent, and then send the comments to Bolt to make your changes.
