Bolt offers two base levels of hosting:
  • Free – Up to 10 GB bandwidth + 333,333 requests per month, with a hard limit on traffic.
  • Pro – Up to 30 GB bandwidth + 1 million requests per month, with the ability to pay as you go to increase traffic capacity.
Bandwidth refers to the total amount of data your site transmits to visitors. Requests are the number of times someone loads a page or visits your site. The Free plan typically supports around 10,000–15,000 monthly visits, depending on the size and complexity of your site. The Pro plan is better suited for production sites, landing pages, or growing products, and can often support 100,000+ visits per month for most use cases. These limits apply to your Bolt account as a whole, not to individual projects. If you publish multiple sites, they share the same monthly bandwidth and request allowance. Actual numbers will vary depending on page size, with image-heavy sites using more bandwidth.
Pro hosting is included with every Bolt paid subscription.

Increase hosting limits

Free plan sites stop serving content once they hit their monthly data limits. When that happens, they stay offline until usage resets at the start of the next billing cycle. As a Pro plan user, you have the option to keep your sites online by using pay-as-you-go data. This lets you automatically purchase additional bandwidth and requests beyond your monthly hosting limit, up to a spending cap you set in your dashboard. Once the cap is reached, the site will pause until your usage resets. This way, you can handle sudden traffic spikes or seasonal surges while keeping your budget in control. To change your hosting limits, follow these steps:
  1. Click your profile icon in the top right of your screen, then click Settings.
  2. Click Cloud.
  3. Click Change spending limit.
  4. Enter your desired spending limit.
  5. Click Save.
Expecting a product launch or viral moment? Increase your spending limit in advance to avoid downtime.

Made in Bolt badge

On the Free plan, projects display a Made in Bolt badge in both preview and published sites. Upgrading to any paid plan removes the badge on your next site update and the next preview refresh. Note that changes may take a few minutes to appear due to caching.
